GNDE (Global Network of Deans of Education)
The Global Network of Deans of Education (GNDE) was established to facilitate cooperation and exchanges of information and knowledge among national and regional associations of deans of education as well as convey the views of teacher educators to various global initiatives and UN agencies. The GNDE uses the 2030 UN Sustainable Development Goals, especially Goal #4 (education), as a unifying focus and framework for our work.

GNDE has undertaken several activities related to the joint educators statement, including:
- publishing a foundations paper The Critical Role of Education Faculties in the Global Agenda for Quality Education*. The paper argues for a coherent, systematic approach to achieve the goals of inclusion and equity in school systems.
- working with the Education Commission and its Education Workforce Initiative to promote the diversification and long-term development of the education workforce
- collaborating with the Global Learning Equity Network led by the University of Newcastle in Australia
