ICP (International Confederation of Principals)
The ICP is the global association that brings together the representatives of school principals organisations from all over the world to discuss the challenges facing school leaders wherever they work. The federation is dedicated to the development, support and promotion of school leadership globally.
The ICP strategic plan notes that the federation will contribute to or commission research and/or policy in health & well-being, ethical leadership, equity and advocacy for principals. The activities include:

- following research and events related to the health & well-being of school administrators. This includes learning from the Covid 19 pandemic, country/state policy development, case studies and surveys. ICP started this theme with survey and research done by the ICP Australian affiliate and The Principal Health and Wellbeing Research Project
- the December 2022 issue of The ICP Magazine emphasized a future orientation for schooling, with several articles addressing the theme of "Future Leaders, Future Schools".
- ICP members are an active partner in the Atlantic Rim Collarboratory (ARC), ARC is a global educational movement that advances equity, broad excellence, inclusion, well-being, democracy, sustainability & human rights in high quality, professionally run systems. The ARC Declaration provides the background, principles and actions being taken.
